It has always fascinated me that in a country like ours we feel free to say Happy Divali, Happy Quanza, Happy Hannukah, but we call it ‘holiday tree’ because otherwise we might offend someone somewhere?!
Those of you who do not celebrate Christmas but have no problem getting paid for time not served, think of the freedom we have to indeed be able to say:
Have a Very Merry, Peaceful Christmas.
