I usually don’t involve myself into politics, partly because I am busy running my life.

Teen etiquette workshop

However, I see how many of you are upset. So I need to say this:  Looking out from my office window and seeing the beautiful Lake Ontario (which means shining water), I think and smile.  This lake will be Lake Ontario for a long time, while He will soon just be a footnote somewhere.

What people are saying on Know Your Own Values

Beyond the sadness, there is a mental and emotional calm that comes after making such a difficult decision as breaking with someone – or organization – when values no longer align with yours.

Marilyn Field

Thank you for this important reminder; it’s easy to forget my own values, especially working in the real estate industry. The combination of a slow market + a terrible economy has contributed to a lot of pressure to just get deals done, sometimes at the expense of slowing down and doing right by clients the way I know I should. Your newsletter was a good nudge to recommit to that, even when it’s tempting to cut corners for the sake of a sale.

Thanks again for keeping this front of mind for all of us.  I thoroughly enjoy reading each and every one of your newsletters!

Geneviève Caya

Just wanted to thank you for your etiquette newsletters. There’s always an interesting idea that you raise in each one – and in the comments of others that you share.

Janice

It’s always nice to get your Newsletter.
