In a previous newsletter, I asked that you show your face by taking your hair off your face so that we can see you. This time I would like to mention how you look on LinkedIn, Facebook, plus the real-time meetings on Zoom, FaceTime and WhatsApp.

I find it disheartening to receive a message from you when, in the picture, I see your spouse, your child, your dog, with you in the background somewhere. Please do not diminish yourself. Value yourself and allow yourself to be shown on your own. You are not somebody’s possession or appendage. You should be representing yourself on the cover page, nobody else.

Think about it.

What people are saying

A very timely newsletter for business owners or reps who are returning to their firms. Hopefully they will remember their repeat and faithful clients and treat them with care.

Adeodata, thank you so much for including Bloom in your newsletter. Very well designed and extremely professional piece. Congratulations and thank you.

I enjoy reading your newsletters. When things return to normal we’ll be one of your repeat customers. I have three kids that need constant reminders about table etiquette and what is appropriate social media protocol.

Great newsletter! As customers line up to enter establishments (food or otherwise), they’re excited to get back to the things they enjoy. And we need to remember that business owners and their staff are equally excited to have their customers back – old and new. So when they go the extra mile to make you feel extra special, it’s a win-win!

Jó látni, hogy nagyon aktív és körültekint? vagy ebben a bizonytalan, változó világban is.

We just bought a new car from an amazing salesperson at West Ottawa Genesis. I think of him and his great customer service when you send out these stories of how well your favorite restaurants take care of you!! I so agree it makes the world of difference. Your manners for kids workshops must be busy…

Nice to know that you can be recognised like that. I’ve been recognised at places like the Mandarin on Queen’s Plate Drive, the Swiss Chalet on Rexdale Blvd and Tucker’s Market Place by the Airport, but I wonder what will happen to these places during Covid. I know that Tucker’s has folded and I’m really sorry for the staff who worked there.
